Ask any Chargers fan who is considered the team’s rival and you could probably whittle down that list to 4 or 5 teams. SB Nation has been conducting a weekly FanPulse Survey and this past week they asked this question. And as you can see Doug Flutie Color Rush Jersey , with 54% of the vote, the answer is the Kansas City Chiefs, followed by the Oakland Raiders with 40%. The Denver Broncos and New England Patriots tied with 3%.I am somewhat surprised by these results. I would have that the Raiders would be tops on this list, with the inter-state matchup built in. Perhaps the vote can be chalked up to how the teams are currently playing; The Chiefs have dominated the Chargers recently whereas the Raiders have slumped these past few years and have lost 4 in a row to the Chargers.Same could be said about the Denver Broncos as they seem to not be as formidable since Peyton Manning retired. As much as we all could hope that the New England Patriots were a rival Trevor Williams Color Rush Jersey , the Chargers just don’t play them enough to really make the argument here. Anybody that knows me or has read my work here will know how bad I hate the Oakland Raiders. I remember going to the Black Hole in my Vincent Jackson jersey. The fans their in Oakland gave me a hard time, they made sure I knew how they felt about #83 that day. But it wasn’t any worse than when I attended a Chargers vs 49ers game in San Francisco. The worst case of Raiders smack I ever got was when I went to a Raiders vs Chargers game in San Diego. It was the worst expierence I've ever had at a football game. The tailgating was terrible, the in-game expierence was dreadful and the post game walk was ridciclous. I never hated another team more in more life. I just hate the Chiefs because they are so dang good. And they have the Chargers number. Hopefully that changes December 13th.(The poll only had the Cheifs, Raiders Dan Fouts Color Rush Jersey , Broncos and Patriots as choices) Ah, it’s that special moment when we sit down on Tuesday morning and complain about how various media outlets perceive our team! If you’ll recall, last week the Chargers beat the Steelers in a marvelous upset, but their Power Ranking average actually dropped almost a point. It didn’t make much sense then Lance Alworth Color Rush Jersey , but hey... it told us what we were looking to find out: They still don’t believe in the Chargers. What about this week? The Chargers dispatched a lowly foe that fought much harder than predicted. In fact, it was a genuine game! The end result was that the Chargers moved to 10-3, unfortunately still just behind the Chiefs. However, perennial top-5-candidate Patriots lost in devastating fashion to a hook and ladder play in Miami. It was a bit beautiful Kellen Winslow Color Rush Jersey , I can’t lie. With both the Rams and the Patriots stumbling, was there a chance for the Chargers to move up the ranks?SB Nation1 New Orleans Saints 2 New England Patriots 3 Los Angeles Rams 4 Kansas City Chiefs5 Houston Texans 6 Chicago Bears 7 Green Bay Packers 8 Seattle Seahawks 9 Los Angeles Chargers [editors note: What the flippidy flap??]10 Dallas CowboysESPN.com1. Another confusing week.Last week it was CBS that received the dubious honor of “dork of the week” for dropping the Chargers from 4th to 9th because they won over the Steelers. This week they at least improved the Chargers ranking by one (roll eyes), but there is a more odd and confusing title holder this week: Our very own SB Nation.Last week their article was titled “The Rams and the Chargers are the two best teams, fight me Philip Rivers Color Rush Jersey ,” placing the Chargers at #2. Cool! This week the same author shot the Bolts down to... number 9? And they don’t even explain WHY?!Watch out, folks. This dorkitude appears to be communicable.
